Who is required to purchase a meal plan?
All students residing in University housing including Aggie Suites and Pride Hall are required to have a meal plan. Can my meal plan be changed?
The last day to change a meal plan is the first day of classes. Any student requesting to change a meal plan after the first day of classes must submit a written request or email to Campus Enterprises, located in Room 141 of Williams or email campusent@ncat.edu
How do I gain access to retail locations and Williams or The Marketplace Dining Halls?
All students are issued an Aggie One-Card and may use their Meal Plan, Dining Dollars or Flex Dollars on their card to gain admittance to Williams & Marketplace Dining Halls, as well as the retail locations. Cash and credit/debit cards are also accepted without an Aggie One-Card at every location. See a map of Aggie Dining locations HERE.
How do I select a meal plan?
Students can sign up for their meal plans online up until the first day of classes via Aggie Access online. Students residing in University Housing who have not selected a meal plan will be automatically assigned Meal Plan B and billed for Meal Plan B: 14 Meals Per Wek + $350 Flex Dollar/semester. After the first day of classes, commuter students must come in to the office of Campus Enterprises located in Williams Dining Hall, Room 141, to complete a dining contract. Please do not send payment with your contract. Students will be billed through the Treasurer’s office. If you experience any issues, contact Campus Enterprises immediately at 336-334-7876.
Where can I use my "Meals" or "Meal Swipes"?
"Meals" or "Meal Swipes" can be used at our all-you-care-to-eat locations, Williams and The Marketplace Dining Halls. Williams now features a takeout program, allowing students to have their meal to-go.
I did not use all my meals this week. Do they carry over to the next week?
Unused meals do not carry over to the following week, but our wide selection of meal plans allows you to choose the perfect meal plan to fit your lifestyle to ensure you're getting the most out of your plan.
What are Flex Dollars?
FLEX DOLLARS come with Traditional Meal Plans U - E and do not transfer from semester to semester. They can be used at the Williams Building or Student Center Dining locations, including: Williams Dining Hall, Starbucks, Qdoba, Paavo's Pizza, Einstein Bros Bagels, Chick-fi-A, SubConnection, The Marketplace, 1891 Bisto, and Aggie Wings. See MAP of Aggie Dining locations.Flex Dollars can also be used at Barnes & Noble Starbucks Café and ELEMENTS Convenient Store. Our off-campus partner, Jet's Pizza, also accepts Flex Dollars for delivery orders only. Call 336.279.7099.
What are Dining Dollars?
DINING DOLLARS are meal plan funds assigned to Commuter Meal Plans and can be used at Aggie Dining locations, including units in the Williams Building & the Student Center. Those locations are: Williams Dining Hall, Qdoba, Starbucks, Paavo's Pizza, Einstein Bros Bagels, Chick-fi-A, Subconnection, The Marketplace,1891 Bisto, and Aggie Wings. See MAP of Aggie Dining locations. Dining Dollars are NOT accepted at the Barnes & Noble Book Store or ELEMENTS Convenient Store. Any unused Dining Dollars at the end of the semester roll over to the spring and any remaining at the end of the Spring are non-refundable.
Can I add additional Dining Dollars to my account?
Additional Dining Dollars may be purchased at any time the GET APP > available on the App Store & Google Play or visit:https://get.cbord.com/ncat . Or visit the Aggie One-Card office at (336) 334-7114. You do not need to have a meal plan in order to buy Dining Dollars.
What happens to my unused Dining Dollars at the end of the semester?
All unused Dining Dollars at the end of the fall semester roll over to the spring semester. All unused Dining Dollars at the end of the spring semester are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to the next term.
Once I have started using my Dining Dollars and/or Flex Dollars, how do I keep track of how much I have left?
After each purchase, your balance is printed at the bottom of your receipt and your GET APP profile will be updated with your new balance.
Can I bring a guest into Williams or the Marketplace Dining Halls?
Meal plans are for the use of the contract participants only and are not transferable. 5 guest passes come with the purchase of meal plan U. Cash, credit/debit cards and Flex Dollars may also be used for a guest.
If I decide to live off campus, what options are available to me?
As a commuter student, you are eligible to purchase any student meal plan listed. Visit our Meal Plan page for details: https://ncatdining.sodexomyway.com/my-meal-plan
What do I do if I want to cancel my meal plan?
Students with University housing are required to have a meal plan and are unable to cancel their meal plan. Commuter students are allowed to cancel their meal plan through the first day of classes. After the first day of classes, all request to change or cancel a meal plan must be submitted to the Appeals Board at campusent@ncat.edu within five (5) days following the last day to change and/or cancel a meal plan. Failure to submit your written request on time will result in the appeal not being heard or granted. Decisions of the Appeals Board are final. Any refund issued will be prorated based upon the date of decision.Housing Cancellation: All requests for meal plan cancellations must be accompanied by documentation from University Housing that you have cancelled your housing contract. Refunds will be prorated for all meal plans from the date Campus Enterprises receives the documentation. Non-payment does not cancel your meal plan. Request must be submitted to Campus Enterprises located in Williams Dining Hall, Room 141 within five (5) days of cancellation to be processed.University Withdrawal: All requests for meal plan cancellation must be accompanied by documentation from the University Registrar’s Office that you have withdrawn from the University. Refunds will be prorated for all meal plans from the date of withdrawal and/or the last day of usage; whichever is greater. Non-payment does not cancel your meal plan. Request must be submitted to Campus Enterprises located in Williams Dining Hall, Room 141 to be processed.
